WASHING

  • Wash cold: Always use cold water to prevent color fading and potential damage to the fabric. 

  • Gentle cycle: Choose a delicate or gentle wash cycle on your machine. 

  • Inside out: Turn the garment inside out before washing to protect the outer surface. 

  • Mild detergent: Use a mild laundry detergent designed for delicate fabrics.

  • Air dry: Hang to dry to prevent shrinkage.

IRONING

  • Use a protective cloth: Place a cloth between the iron and the fabric.

  • Iron on the inside: Iron the garment inside out. 

  • Use a low temperature: Use a low heat setting to avoid damaging the fabric. 

  • Use long strokes: Move the iron in long strokes lengthwise, rather than in a circular motion. 

  • Iron the collar: Start at the point of the collar and work inwards, ironing both the underside and the inner side. 

  • Iron the sleeves: Open the cuffs and iron over the flat surface. 

  • Iron the body: Start with the front button placket and press in between the buttons. 

  • ron the hem: Pay attention to the hem. 

  • Hang the garment: Hang the garment and let it sit for at least 10 minutes so it's dry and cool before putting it on
