WASHING

  • Cold water: Use cold water to prevent shrinkage with pure cotton canvas.

  • Gentle cycle: Select a gentle or delicate wash cycle on your washing machine.

    Mild detergent: Opt for a mild laundry detergent. 

  • Wash alone or with similar colors: To avoid color transfer, wash your canvas item alone or with other similar colored fabrics.

  • Air dry: Always air dry your canvas item to maintain its shape and prevent potential damage from a dryer. 

IRONING

  • Use a low to medium heat setting: Never use a high heat setting on your iron when ironing canvas, as it can scorch the fabric. 

  • Dampen the canvas lightly: Spray the back of the canvas with a fine mist of water to make it easier to iron.

  • Use a protective layer: For added protection, place a thin cloth like a pillowcase between the iron and the canvas.
